The concept of RuntimeException

Exception: the checked exception, which is the exception that forces us to catch or throw. If you encounter such an exception, you must use catch or throw. If you do not handle it, the compiler will report an error. For example: IOException.

RuntimeException: runtime exceptions, which we don't need to handle, are completely taken over by the virtual machine. For example, in our common NullPointerException, we don't do catch or throw when writing programs.

RuntimeException also inherits from Exception, but the virtual machine distinguishes between the two exceptions. When writing your own exception, your partner should choose which exception to inherit.

We see that when the first method is called, the compiler prompts us to handle the exception, try-catch or throw the exception on the method. When the second method is called, we are not prompted for exception handling. This is the difference between Exception and RuntimeException.
