12. The Centos partition format is completely different from Windows. The Windows partition format is generally in NTFS format and the C partition installed on the hard disk is OK, but it is generally divided into two partitions in CentOS:

One is the root partition, that is, "\", and the file system is in ext4 format.

The other is the swap partition (set to 2 times the memory when the memory is less than 2G, and 2G when the memory is greater than or equal to 2G).

After the partition is completed, select Done to confirm, and select Accept Changes from the pop-up dialog box, as shown in the following figure:

13. Network configuration, mainly by opening the network card and setting hostname, as shown below:

Select "Configure", then click "Save" and "Done" to return, as shown in the following figure:

14. Complete the above steps, and the basic configuration has been completed. At this point, the Begin installation button in the main interface will be optional, click the button to install. When you enter the installation interface, you can see the "USER CREATION" item. Before completing the installation, you can further configure the user settings, as shown in the following figure:

It usually takes a long time to install the software package. At this time, you can set USER SETTINGS, click the ROOT PASSWORD option, and set the root user (root) password, as shown in the following figure. After setting it, press Done to return, as shown below:

This is followed by the setting of USER CREATION, that is, creating a new account and entering a user name and password. Note that the users here are ordinary users, similar to the administrators and ordinary users under the Windows system. The root users under CentOS correspond to Administrarot users under Windows, and the users created here correspond to ordinary users under Windows. The specific settings are shown in the following figure. Press Done to return after setting them.

Return to the main interface and wait for the software to continue to be installed.

15. After completing the installation, click reboot to restart.

After reboot, enter the LOCALIZATION settings, click LICENSE INFORMATION, enter the protocol interface, check the check box "I Accept...", and click Done to return.

Click "Finished configuration" to enter the kdump settings interface, uncheck the check box, click "Forward" to continue, and click "Yes" to confirm.

16. At this time, the system will restart, log in with the ordinary testuser user you just created, enter the password, and then enter the desktop.

17. After entering the desktop, the welcome screen appears, select the default English and OK, and then Next...Next...
