Shulou(Shulou.com)06/02 Report--
This article is about how to use the Web page and the command line to upgrade your device. The editor thinks it is very practical, so share it with you as a reference and follow the editor to have a look.
Preparatory work
Before upgrading, we recommend that you:
1. Query the software version of the current system through the Web interface or show version command on the command line, and choose the appropriate upgrade method.
2. Please refer to the version Notes of the target version and read the upgrade instructions for the corresponding hardware platform.
3. Obtain the software version documents that meet your requirements through the official website or the after-sales service hotline.
4. The new version needs to restart the device to take effect, so it is recommended to upgrade during off-peak traffic periods.
5. It is not recommended to downgrade the system because it will lose the system configuration.
6. If the memory of the device is low, it is recommended to upgrade through CLI and remove the previous software version to upgrade successfully.
7. Be sure to back up the configuration files of the system to prevent the configuration from being lost in the upgrade.
For the following information, please consult after sales first.
1. Confirm whether the license expires. If it has not expired, you can continue the upgrade operation; if it has expired, you can only upgrade to the version of the software released before it expires.
2. Try to avoid cross-version upgrades. For example, upgrade from version 4.0 to version 5.0, please upgrade to version 4.5 first, and then upgrade to version 5.0.
3. If the networking environment is configured with HA, please consult the after-sales service hotline for upgrade instructions.
