Enable vxlan network in ML2 configuration

Set the parameters related to vxlan network in / etc/neutron/plugins/ml2/ml2_conf.ini.

Specify that the network type created by an ordinary user is vxlan, while enable l2population mechanism driver, and then specify the range of vxlan.

The above configuration defines the range of vxlan vni as 1001-2000, which is for ordinary users to create vxlan network in their tenants. Because the average user cannot specify that vni,Neutron will automatically take values from this range in order when creating a network.

For admin, there is no restriction on the vni range, and admin can create a vxlan network with a vni range of 1-16777216.

Configure to enable vxlan and l2population in [agent].

Finally, configure VTEP in [ovs].

The bridge corresponding to vxlan tunnel is br-tun.

Local_ip specifies the IP address of the VTEP.

Devstack-controller uses 166.66.16.10, and this IP is configured on the network card eth2.

Devstack-compute01 uses 166.66.16.11, which is configured on the network card eth2.

Initial network structure

After the Neutron service is restarted, view the network configuration through ovs-vsctl show.

Br-int and br-tun are connected through patch port "patch-tun" and "br-tun".
