1. Main interface

2. Set up

Click "Settings." Button, the settings interface will pop up, where the default encoding configuration, the output directory of transcoding files and the number of parallel transcoding tasks will be set.

The default encoding configuration, which sets the coding parameters used by default when transcoding, including picture frame, bit rate, target device and other information.

Transcode the output directory and set the directory in which the transcoded files are placed.

The number of parallel transcoding tasks, set the number of transcoding processes allowed at the same time, according to the personal computer configuration to define, usually the general computer starts 3 tasks.

Synchronize the video to the HTTP server. If this option is checked, you need to enter an available HTTP upload address in the input box below, and the transcoded output video file will be uploaded to this location.

Synchronize the video to the CMS server. If this option is checked, the video will be uploaded to any CMS system that supports Cloud Vision's video publishing specification, including resource name and cover.

If you do not want to upload files synchronously, you can open the settings window at any time and uncheck this option.

3. Add video files

To add a video file that needs to be transcoded, click the "add File" button, and the file addition interface will pop up, as shown in the following figure.

In this interface, clicking the "add Video File" button will bring up a file selection box, and you can select one or more files at a time.

After the file is added to the list, the file metadata is analyzed and the media information is displayed in the attribute column.

In the "Encoding configuration" drop-down box, the default encoding configuration is used, and different encoding configurations can be selected as needed.

After selecting the file and encoding configuration, click the OK button to add the file to the list of files in the main interface.

4. Start transcoding

After adding the video file, click the "start Transcoding" button above the main interface to start the transcoding task. The coding progress column in the queue box shows the progress and result of transcoding.

5. Stop transcoding

In the process of transcoding, stop transcoding by clicking the "stop transcoding" button. Clicking this button will terminate all tasks that are being transcoded.

6. Right-click operation

Right-click in the list to operate on the selected tasks, including the menus "start Transcoding", "stop Transcoding", "start upload", "continue upload", and "Delete Task". These actions are valid only for the tasks selected in the list.

You can operate on one or more tasks at any time by selecting them.
