Maximum usage period: the default password expires for 42 days, and 0 means it will never expire.

Disk management

Power off, plug in the hard drive, boot

Select the newly added disk-- > online-- > initialize the disk-- > MBR (use GPT greater than 2T)

Simple volume (dark blue): a volume on a single dynamic disk that can be extended to spanned volumes.

Spanned volume (green): a volume that contains space for multiple dynamic disks (up to 32).

Striped volume (purple): a volume composed of free space on multiple disks, which is more efficient.

Mirrored volume (brick red): similar to raid1, two disks store the same data. When one is broken, the other will be topped up immediately.

RAID5 volume (sky blue): raid5, which requires 3 or more disks and contains a stripe of parity codes to prevent data loss.
