Subscribe to ID (Subscription ID)

Apply ID (Client ID)

Application key (Client Secret)

Get subscription ID (Subscription ID)

Home page-> subscribe-> View subscription ID (Subscription ID)

Get Application ID (Client ID)

First you need to register an application (App resgistrations)

Home page-> Azure Active Directory-> Application Registration (App resgistrations)-> New Registration (New registration)

Get the application ID (Client ID)

Get the application key (Client Secret)

Add a new client password

Role authorization of the application

Through the above operations, some credentials ID for creating Azure hosts have been obtained, but the application has not been granted role authorization. An error message of 400,403 may occur during creation. The following actions bind the application to roles.

Add role assignment

Home page-> subscriptions-> access Control (IAM)-> add role assignments.

Add Rol

Search for applications-> add roles according to required permissions-> Select applications-> add.

Rancher partial operation

Add a cluster and select Azure AKS

Enter the cluster name, subscription ID (Subscription ID), application ID (Client ID), and application key (Client Secret), and select the availability zone that can be created by the subscription.

Select kubernets version, number of nodes, resource group (you can use existing resource groups or create new ones), upload public CA certificate and other options.

Click create to complete the creation of the AKS cluster (it takes a certain amount of time to create the cluster. You can view the new resources through the Azure resource group).
