Customer usage scenarios:

Import some of the data from the Excel spreadsheet into SharePoint list, but after creating a new Import Speedsheet List, select the target Excel document, click Import, and pop up the following prompt:

Many people may see this prompt, the first reaction is the table in the Excel document or save the document in the wrong format, doubt whether the table contains macros or should save the document as cvs format does not affect the import, in fact, it is not the problem of the document itself, but the site where the document is not trusted by the browser.

Solution:

In Internet Options- > Security- > Trusted Sites, adding Site Collection URL to trusted Zone solves the problem, as shown below:

Notes:

Import spreadsheets using the 32-bit version of Internet Explorer 10 or 11, which is dependent on ActiveX.

After adding the Trusted Zone, execute the import action again to determine the expected imported Excel Scope, as shown below:

Click the content in the Import,Excel table to successfully import it into list, as shown below:

Note: in general, after importing a list, you should check the columns and data to make sure that everything is imported as expected, for example, you can specify that a column contains currencies rather than just numbers.
