Editor to share with you how to disable Win10 integrated graphics card, I believe that most people do not know much about it, so share this article for your reference, I hope you can learn a lot after reading this article, let's go to know it!
Win10 disables the integrated graphics card method:
1. Press the Win+X key combination to open device Manager
2. Under device Manager, expand "display Adapter", and we can see two devices, usually Intel+NVIDIA or AMD (Intel is usually set display while Nvidia and AMD are usually unique display)
3. The integrated graphics card starts with intel, so right-click intel (R) to disable it.
Win10 BIOS turns off the integrated video card:
Note: different computer BIOS will be different, you can refer to the following methods, but you need to find your own options.
1. First go to BIOS setup and find Config
2. Choose Dispaly, which is usually about the setting option of display.
3. The first item, Default Primary Video Device, specifies the priority assigned to the graphics card. The first PCI Express is actually unique, and the second Internal is built-in, that is, set display. We choose the first PCI Express.
4. The second item-Boot Display Device, select the display device that needs to be active when booting. This selection is valid for boot time, password prompts, and BIOS settings. Because there is no external monitor, of course I choose ThinkPad LCD.
5. The third item-Graphics Devices,Integrated Graphics (set Show) provides longer battery life, while Discrete Graphics (unique Show) enhances performance and experience. Switchable Graphics can dynamically switch between set display and solo display, so we choose Discrete Graphics.
6. The fourth item-OS Detection for Switchable Graphics, in order to better match the switching of dual graphics cards by the operating system, according to the official documentation, only Vista and 7 are supported. Of course, our system does not support well, so Disable.
With the above settings, we go back to the operating system, and we can see in the device manager that the integrated graphics card is gone. The integrated video card is shielded successfully.
Note: disabling the integrated video card has a certain risk, which may cause the system to boot black screen, unable to boot and other problems. This is what everyone needs to know.
