Because this computer updated the network card driver the day before yesterday afternoon, at that time the computer could connect to the Internet. Troubleshoot the problem step by step.

Troubleshooting process:

1. Check the physically connected network cable. It looks fine. The switch indicator light is always on.

2. Check whether the Nic driver has an exclamation mark and no exception from the device manager.

3. Try to use 360 network repair to indicate that the Nic driver is abnormal (it fell into the pit here, and we'll talk about how to do it later), and then start to find the driver for a long time. The official website and omnipotent have tried all over, installed and unloaded. It has no effect.

4. Accidentally open the network and sharing center to "change the adapter settings" and find that the "local connection" is enabled. At first, I assume that the network card is not working (you can see that you must check the status of various devices and the importance of parameters before troubleshooting, this is the first pit), and then check the TCP/IPv4 property to get the address automatically. After installing the network card driver, you should set a static address to connect to the Internet, but I didn't do it. I still tried the network card driver there (this is the second pit). Even if I tried to replace the network cable.

5. After setting the static address, I am looking forward to connecting to the Internet. The cruelty of reality tells me that this is impossible. Check the TCP/IPv4 property and find that the gateway is empty. It was clearly set up just now, but it is still the case after trying again.

6. Viewing the "details" of the local connection is blank. What is the situation?

Sure enough, I found this program in the local connection properties, and immediately after deletion, the network card returned to normal, the bright red fork also disappeared after saying goodbye to me, and the Internet connection was also normal. At this time, I remembered that yesterday this machine was the "360 traffic firewall" I enabled (this is the third hole, a big hole dug for myself).

Summary:

When you encounter a network failure, in addition to checking the physical connection, you must also check whether the device status and parameter settings are normal. Don't turn around like me to see the status and parameters (cmd ipconfig/all), which is a waste of time and does not solve the problem.

You must be careful with the use of new software applications, otherwise there will be some strange problems, such as the one I encountered.
