Shulou(Shulou.com)06/01 Report--
How to take a screenshot of the content on the Windows computer screen, I believe that many inexperienced people are at a loss about it. Therefore, this paper summarizes the causes and solutions of the problem. Through this article, I hope you can solve this problem.
Screenshots (also known as screenshots or screen captures) can be taken in a desktop or application window, many doors are open to facilitate sharing: from posting specific parts of an image or article text on social media to sending a message to technical support to show your problems.
The following is how to take screenshots on Windows and Mac.
Take a screenshot on Windows
Look for the print screen key on the keyboard, which may be marked PrtScn or some similar variant.
To capture the entire screen (everything displayed on the screen, including all open windows), press the PrtScn button. This screenshot will be placed on the clipboard.
Or, to capture only the active window or the front window, press Alt + PrtScn. (some machines may ask you to click Fn at the same time.)
-- if you want to select the part of the screen you want to capture, press Windows + Shift + S. In windows 10, this opens the Screenshot tool, which we will explain below.
Next, open a word processing or image editing program (such as Microsoft Paint) and go to Edit > paste, or press Ctrl + V to paste the image into the program.
Go to File > Save as, and then save the image to a folder for later use.
Use the Screenshot tool
Windows 7,8.1 and 10 come with screenshot tools. Using the Screenshot tool, you can define the screen area to capture (irregular shape, drawn rectangle, selected window, or entire screen), annotate the screen capture and share it via email.
Because you can save the image directly from the program, the Screenshot tool can also omit the step of opening drawing or other programs and pasting the image from the clipboard. After taking a screenshot, use the Save clip button.
To use the screenshot tool:
Click start, and then type Screenshot tool in the search box. Select the screenshot tool from the results.
-Click the mode to select the type of screen capture you want. Then use the mouse to select the screen or window area you want to capture.
-- you can also use the screenshot tool to capture menu options, such as drop-down menus, which usually disappear when you release the mouse button or the start menu. Press Ctrl + PrtScn to capture the menu. If you are using Windows 7, press ESC before opening the menu you want to crawl.
To draw or highlight part of the screenshot, click the pen or fluorescent pen button on the menu.
After taking a screenshot, you can use the Save fragment or send clip option to save it and send or copy it via email to paste into another application.
Take a screenshot on Mac OS X
Mac OS X also has keyboard shortcuts for screen capture. After you press these key combinations to take a screenshot, you will hear a click and the screenshot thumbnail will be displayed in the lower right corner of the screen.
To capture the entire screen, press Cmd + Shift + 3 at the same time.
To capture the selected area on the screen, press Cmd + Shift + 4. The cursor changes to a cross, and you can drag around the area you want to capture.
To capture a specific window or something like a Dock or menu bar, press Cmd + Shift + 4, and then press the spacebar. The crosshairs will become a small camera and highlight windows or objects that can be captured.
To capture the contents of the touch bar, press Cmd + Shift + 6.
Screenshots are automatically saved to your desktop in PNG file format. If you want to save to the clipboard, click to press and hold Control.
Use the Screenshot tool
Mac OS X (Mojave and later) also has a tool for taking screenshots called screenshots. You can access it using Cmd + Shift + 5 or under applications > Utilities.
When you open Screenshot, a floating toolbar appears at the bottom of the screen. You can choose whether to capture the selection, a specific window or the entire screen.
You can also choose to record the screen (the entire screen or the selected part) or set a timer delay of 5 or 10 seconds. The default settings save screen capture to the desktop, but you can select a different destination under the options menu.
