Google said Pixel 6 users who are dealing with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity issues are working on fixes after installing security patches earlier this month. In response to Reddit users, Google acknowledged the issue and said it would bundle a fix in a software update in March.

"After some investigation, we identified the root cause and determined that it affected a very small number of devices," Google said. "Of course, we realized it was a bad experience and immediately developed a software fix that will be available in the next Google Pixel update coming out in March. "

Google also said it wanted to contact its support team "while exploring other options," but it didn't provide any details about what that meant. As 9to 5 Google points out, some users have found that installing Android 12L beta3 has solved this problem, so this may be the "other option" Google is quoting here. Google spokesman Alex Moriconi confirmed in a statement to The Verge that the information outlined in the post was "accurate."

For some reason, Google's update didn't perform well on its flagship Pixel 6 and 6 Pro devices. Google canceled the first major updates to both phones in December after users reported dropping and disconnecting calls. Its January update fixed the bug-but the problem reappeared after the latest patch was released, which caused some devices to randomly turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
