The AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D will be the first and only 3D V-Cache chip based on the 7nm Zen 3 core architecture. Due to its additional 64 MB 3D Stacked SRAM design, CPU will provide a combined cache of 8 cores, 16 threads, and 100 MB. The clock speed will be maintained at 3.4 GHz base and 4.5 GHz boost, with a TDP of 105W.

As for pricing, the suggested retail price of the CPU is the same as that of the 5800X at $449, which means the price of non-3D chips will drop to $399 or less. Pricing makes 5800X3D more expensive than Intel Core i7-12700K, which offers more cores / threads but lower cache. It will be interesting to see the performance benchmark between the two chips.

According to sources, the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D CPU was bought from a Peruvian retailer, which sold the soles for 2062.50 Nuevos, or about $550. The chip is tested on X570 AORUS Master motherboard (F36C v1.2), 2x 8 GB G.Skill FlareX DDR4-3200 (CL14 Samsung B-die) and GeForce RTX 3080 Ti FE platform. Using Windows 10 (21H2) as the operating system, it is well known that there is not much difference in performance between Windows 10 and 11.
