Download Java's development package JDK

There are several type versions of JDK, so we only need to choose the version of type Java SE. Go to the web page: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html

Here, as developers, we choose JDK instead of JRE, so click the DOWNLOAD button under JDK with the mouse to enter the new web page, as shown below:

There are versions of different platforms available for download, for the Windows platform, there are 32-bit and 64-bit, according to their own computer's Windows platform version of the corresponding choice, I use 32-bit Windows XP system, so choose to download jdk-7u4-windows-i586.exe on it, if the computer's Windows system is 64-bit, you should choose to download jdk-7u4-windows- x64.exe. To download the corresponding version, you must accept the corresponding license agreement, which is not accepted by default, as shown in the figure above. Click directly to download and you will give a reminder. As shown below:

You must first click the radio button "Accept License Agreement" on the left to accept the corresponding license agreement. After clicking, the web page will look like the following figure:

Then click the mouse to download the corresponding version. 32-bit Windows system Click jdk-7u4-windows-i586.exe,64 bit Windows system Click jdk-7u4-windows-x64.exe.

Install JDK

If you download an executable program for exe, this is an installer, and you just need to run it to install it, although you can specify the installation path during the installation process. If you download a compressed file instead of an executable, it is usually a zip file, such as an earlier version of JDK. If this is the case, just unzip the zip file to the desired Java installation directory and set the environment variable. There are many decompression tools on Windows platform, such as WinRAR, 7-Zip, etc. Just choose according to your preference.

Check the JDK environment variable

Run the console program cmd.exe after installing JDK, as shown below:

The cmd.exe program will be launched when the mouse clicks the "OK" button, as shown below:

Enter java-version and press enter to check whether the environment variable of Java is configured successfully. If so, the corresponding java version will be displayed. The version of Java on my computer is 1.7.0room02, as shown in the following figure:

If it is not successful, it is usually because the setting of the environment variable is not normal. Now the JDK of the Windows platform is a ready installation package, and there is generally no problem after normal installation. Early JDK has zip file format, after decompression, you need to set environment variables, now JDK does not have this problem, so no longer talk about the setting of environment variables.
