How to use bd in Linux

Suppose you are currently in the top directory of this path:

/ media/aaronkilik/Data/Computer Science/Documents/Books/LEARN/Linux/Books/server $

To quickly access the "Documents" directory, simply type:

$bd Documents

Then go directly to the Data directory, and you can type:

$bd Data

Important: if there is more than one directory with the same name in the hierarchy, bd will move to the nearest directory, regardless of the nearest parent directory, as in the following example.

For example, in the path above, there are two directories with the same name, Books, if you want to move to:

Enter bd Books to enter:

/ media/aaronkilik/Data/ComputerScience/Documents/Books

In addition, using bd such as `bd `in backquotes ``will print out the path without changing the current directory, so you can use `bd` with other common Linux commands, such as ls,echo.

In the following example, currently in the / var/www/html/internship/assets/filetree directory, to print out the absolute path, list the contents in detail, and count the size of all files in the directory html, you don't have to enter it, just type:
