Some time ago, a customer reported that there was a problem with a secondary domain-controlled replication and reported that the RPC service was not available.

Open the event viewer and find that many event id events are 6013 events, the system startup time is 45626584 seconds, about 528days, the system running time is more than 497days.

Repeat 5719 events in the Windows event log: the RPC server is not available.

Open the CMD window and execute the following command: netstat-aon | find / C / I "tcp" after testing, it is found that there are a large number of server connections, but the TCP connection has not been released, as shown below:

The cause of the problem:

When the Windows2008/Windows2008R2 system runs for more than 497days, the network resources (ports) of TCP/IP will no longer be automatically released. After running for a period of time, all the network resources of the machine will be used up.

Failure phenomenon:

1. The communication with the same domain control is abnormal, which is characterized by the use of domain user login / remote login to report an error 'losing contact with domain control' or flickering.

2. Shared folder, which cannot be accessed by external IP users

3. Domain name resolution failed

Solution:

This problem can be completely solved by installing a repair patch
