Vnx:

Disks- "raid-" pool/raid group- "lun

If it is made into pool, it is thin lun; if it is raid group, it is thick lun.

Vmax:

One of the biggest differences between vmax and vnx is that vmax does not create lun.

Different disks- > disk group- > raid- > TDEV (lun) (data volume)-> logic pool

After making the raid, make the number of lun size * according to the demand, that is, data volume, which can be used directly. You don't need to create lun from pool like vnx, and then join logic pool to become thin lun.
