RebootInstance

Restart an instance.

Description

You can only restart ECS instances with a running status (Running).

Restart the ECS instance and enter the Starting state.

Forced restart (ForceStop) is supported, which is equivalent to a power-off restart of a traditional server, which may lose data in the instance operating system that is not written to disk.

When "LockReason": "security" is marked in the OperationLocks of a security-controlled ECS instance, the instance cannot be restarted.
