A HP DL380G4 server of the customer. The server uses hp smart array controller to mount a domestic disk array. The disk array consists of 14 146G SCSI hard disks and consists of a group of RAID5.
The operating system is LINUX, and NFS+FTP is built as an internal file server of the company.
Because the server room was relocated, the administrator cleaned the server and disk array equipment by the way during the relocation process, and then the server could not recognize RAID after the new room was connected, so it was not initialized.

The engineer made a simple initial inspection of the equipment and found that the reason for data loss was raid information loss. HP smart array series controllers originated from Compaq. Redundancy in RAID adopts double cycle verification method.
[Disk Array Data Recovery Steps]
1. First connect the SCSI hard disk cabinet directly to the SCSI expansion card that does not contain RAID function.
2. Engineers then connect all the hard disks in the server array in a single disk on a dedicated (modified Windows2003) repair platform.
3. In order to protect the customer's original data and avoid changing the customer's original data due to data recovery operations, all hard disks must be completely mirrored in a read-only manner during all data recovery processes, and the images must also be stored on devices with redundancy protection.
4. Arrange engineers to analyze the double cycle check parameters of the original RAID from the mirror file and build a virtual raid platform.
5, in the virtual RAID platform to remove the early offline disk, explain the file system, at this time can already export raid data.
6. Connect the RAID array to the customer's original HP server and reconfigure RAID.
7. Finally, all data is transmitted back to the newly created raid disk array through network dd, NFS, SAMBA, FTP, SSH and other data transmission methods.
