Since July, Microsoft has been releasing major feature updates for the Windows 10 Skype app on PC and mobile. According to Italian media Aggiornamenti Lumia, after weeks of testing in Skip Ahead Channel (RedStone 4), Microsoft has begun deploying in the latest preview of Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.

In the app version numbers from 11.19.856.0 to 12.4.676.0, although the official update log is not provided, the media discovered the following adjustments:

Added a lot of feedback actions, such as new icons, peripheral layouts, etc.

Ability to cancel multiple Skype sessions (previously only general messages could be cleared and Skype messages hidden)

Brand new welcome screen

Users no longer hide sessions

Users can no longer add groups to their favorites
