Note: this article mainly introduces how to deploy XP virtual machines in batch through link cloning in the newly deployed View 6.2.0 environment. Step 1: prepare the XP virtual machine template

1. Prepare the XP image:

two。 Create a XP template virtual machine, which is similar to creating a Win7 template virtual machine. You can create a corresponding XP template virtual machine according to the actual needs. After the virtual machine is created, install VMware Tools and make some settings for the XP template virtual machine, such as: turn off the screensaver, power settings, performance settings, turn off the system restore, turn off the firewall, configure the first DNS as the IP of the domain control server, and so on, depending on the situation.

4. Install the required software, and then install the view agent, agent version: 6.0.2-2331487

5. Shut down the XP template virtual machine and create a current snapshot in preparation for subsequent linked clones.

Step 2: configure the ADSI of the Connection connection server

1. Log in to the Connection connection server as a domain administrator, [start]-"run] -" enter: adsiedit.msc; right mouse button ADSI editor, select [Connect to], and configure as shown below.
