On the other hand, this may indicate that the new Xiaomi fitness bracelet (Xiaomi bracelet 7) will also migrate to Zepp OS. In fact, this can be found in previous leaks about Mi Band 7 in early March.

So far, Zepp Life isn't anything new: in fact, it's the same Mi Fit app, but with a new name and a different icon. Automatic transition to Zepp Life via Mi Fit update: Users immediately receive Zepp Life 6.0.0 instead of Mi Fit 5.6.0. However, the app could change dramatically when the Xiaomi 7 launches--and developers still have months to do it.
