lsb_release Displays release information

If this command is used without parameters, the-v parameter is added by default.

-v Displays version information. -i Displays the id of the release. -d Displays descriptive information about the release. -r Indicates the specific version number of the current system release. -c Release code. -a Displays all the information above. -h Displays help information. If the current release is LSB compliant, the/etc/lsb_release file contains the LSB_VERSION field. The value of this field can be a list of supported modules separated by colons. If the directory/etc/lsb-release.d exists, the filename is looked up in that directory and prepended to LSB_VERSION as an additional module version. The general format is Distributor release x.x (Codename) Note: Debian lacks descriptive information (see/etc/debian-version), and most of the information is added to the lsb-release file to support Debian.
