[root@linuxcool] # lvcreate-L 15G vg_newlvm

Create a logical volume of size 2500MB in the volume group named vg_newlvm and name it linuxcool:

[root@linuxcool] # lvcreate-L 2500-n linuxcool vg_newlvm

Create a logical volume using all the remaining space in the volume group:
