Operation instruction

There are two ways to install ADK. If there is an external network and the network speed is relatively fast, you can install it online. If there is no external network, you can refer to the previous tutorial to download the ADK in advance. We will demonstrate the installation of ADK 1903 and ADK 1903 (WinPE add-on) components through ConfigMgr Prerequisites Tool.

Copy the downloaded ADK package to the ADK folder on disk D of SCCM01 for backup:

Operation steps

Install ADK version 1903

Click ADK-> Offline-> Click browse to browse to the folder of the ADK package-> Select Setup Installer at Specify the offline Windows ADK installer type-> Click install to start the installation until it is complete:

Click browse to browse to the folder of the ADK package-> Select Setup Add-on at Specify the offline Windows ADK installer type-> Click install to start the installation until it is complete:

Install Tips:

Installing ADK version 1903 (WinPE add-on) through ConfigMgr Prerequisites Tool may indicate that Unable to locate ADK setup bootstrap file cannot be installed smoothly. This is just to demonstrate that you can install ADK through tools, but you can install ADK manually.

Take manually installing ADK version 1903 (WinPE add-on) as an example, the steps for installing ADK version 1903 are the same:

Under the ADK version 1903 (WinPE add-on) package folder, double-click adkwinpesetup.exe-> Select the first item in Specify Location and click Next:

Click Next:

Click Accept to accept the license:

Confirm the Windows Preinstallation Environment (Windows PE) check box and click Install to start the installation until the installation is complete:
