Dafa Yanlan Bay is independently developed by Dafa Group Nanjing Kailun Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. it is located in Qixia District and No. 498 Yan Road (former Nanjing friction material General Factory). It is a low-density, pure residential district project of Muyan plate natural landscape belt.
Dafa Yanlan Bay north of the natural landscape belt Jinling one of 48 scenery: one kilometer of Yanziji Park, west of Mufu Mountain Scenic Belt, the natural geographical location is very superior. The district covers a total area of 70, 000 square meters, with a total construction area of 170000 square meters, which is composed of 18 small high-rise buildings of pure plate type. It is a pure ecological landscape residential community built by Dafa Group in Muyan plate.
This time, it is mainly considered to cover the outdoor open areas such as the square, courtyard and exercise area of Dafa Yanlan Bay.
II. Principles of construction
2.1 principles of ensuring coverage
The key areas covered by this project are outdoor open areas such as squares, courtyards and exercise areas in Dafa Yanlan Bay, such as squares, exercise areas, rest areas, etc., where the flow of people is relatively large and stay for a long time, it is necessary to ensure that outdoor WiFi wireless signals can be received in most of these open areas. At the same time, try to cover the main roads within the community.
2.2 site selection for construction site
The biggest difficulty of WLAN coverage is the acquisition of the site. Altai Super WiFi base station has excellent line-of-sight and non-line-of-sight coverage, and unique anti-jamming design such as smart antenna, multi-sector, multi-RF and so on. Through our company's technical personnel in the site investigation, the best location between the two buildings to build a new pole A8n site, to complete the entire Dafa Yanlan Bay District outdoor WiFi coverage.
2.3 Supplementary coverage and expansion
Use the new pole to install Altai A8n base station to achieve WLAN coverage in most areas of the target area, and then according to the implementation situation, through the local addition of small WiFi base stations to make up the blind.
III. Solutions
3.1 Network topology and networking mode

The topology graph of the core group network covered by WLAN has the above structure. AP (A8n base station) is connected to the ONU equipment through FE at the station, then connected to the OLT, and then connected to the IP core network. Due to the advantages of the screening community, the number of base stations needed to install A8n base stations to achieve WLAN coverage is greatly reduced compared with the traditional AP.
For the sake of economy, we can choose to let the A8n base station operate in fat AP mode without using additional AC equipment.
Of course, you can also use the thin AP mode to manage all AP centrally, and at the same time achieve advanced features such as load balancing between AP. According to the network situation, AC can be installed in OLT, BAS, core switch and other locations, depending on the actual network. Access methods are: side-hanging, string; forwarding methods are: set forwarding, local forwarding; tunnel modes are: layer 2 tunnel, layer 3 tunnel; depending on the actual network situation.
3.2 Distribution of open areas in Dafa Yanlan Bay District
The map of Dafa Yanlan Bay and its surroundings (the map comes from the network) is shown in figure 2.

IV. Super WiFi Base Station deployment Scheme
According to the site situation, it is proposed to cover the entire Dafa Yanlan Bay district with WLAN at each point below (triangle represents WLAN base station location, arrow line represents antenna pointing, fuchsia represents 1 channel, blue represents 6 channels, and * * represents 11 channels).
Note: this proposal is a preliminary planning proposal. In the process of building the network, the number, channel and installation location of the base station can be adjusted appropriately according to the actual situation on the site.
5. User capacity
1. Theoretically, the wireless interface of A8n is used as overlay access, and the interface provides the highest physical bandwidth of 300Mbps (HT40 mode).
two。 However, it should be emphasized that because WiFi uses an open frequency band and few frequency points can be used, it is seriously disturbed by the environment in practical application, and the actual number of available users and bandwidth are far lower than the theoretical bandwidth.
3. Considering that except for the community staff, all the other users are residents using intelligent terminals, so it is assumed that the bandwidth required by each intelligent end user is 128Kbps. According to our application experience, in practical applications, according to the 64Kbps bandwidth per user, the planned users of an A8n/ are more than 450s.
According to the number of base stations at the site, the user capacity is estimated. The number of users that can be accommodated in this scheme is shown in the following table:

VI. Power supply scheme
The A8n base station used in this scheme supports AC and PoE power supply, and the power supply mode can be selected according to the actual situation on the spot.
VII. Transmission access solution
As mentioned earlier, this scheme uses a new pole to build A8n base station, and the optimal site can be selected to meet the outdoor WIFI coverage of the whole Dafa Yanlan Bay district. Optical fiber transmission is adopted in the transmission mode, optical fiber is laid from the data room of the community to each A8n base station, and the optical signal is converted into an electrical signal through a photoelectric converter to make the A8n base station connect to Internet to complete the mutual transmission of data and information.
VIII. SSID configuration scheme and channel planning
8.1 SSID configuration scenario
The A8n base station can support 16 VAP/SSID, of which VAP0 can not only provide ordinary Internet access services, but also can be used to manage the base station. We recommend that you enable 3 VAP/SSID:
1. The SSID of VAP0 is set to "YLW-Admin", which is used by the system administrator to manage the base station through wireless access if necessary; for security reasons, the SSID should be set to hidden, and security modes such as WEP/WPA/WPA2 can be set.
2. The SSID of VAP1 is set to "YLW-WIFI" to provide user access; the SSID should not set the security mode and allow users to associate.
3. If the builder cooperates with a mobile or telecom operator, the SSID of VAP2 can be set to "CMCC" or "ChinaNet" to provide user access; the SSID should not set the security mode and allow users to associate and go to the Portal authentication page.
8.2 Channel planning
1. As the available channels without collision in WLAN2.4GHz band are limited, if the channel conflicts between adjacent AP, it will cause channel interference between AP, and the access experience of users will be greatly reduced.
two。 The channel planning of AP should be done before data configuration. If conditions permit, it is recommended that the channel of AP be assigned manually, and the automatic tuning function of AP is not recommended.
3. If there are other AP devices nearby that happen to conflict with our planned channel, we need to troubleshoot and negotiate to modify it to the appropriate channel value.
4. The wireless channel network regulation needs to adopt the spatial interleaving allocation channel to increase the network capacity.
5. The channels between adjacent AP should be staggered, for example, the 2.4G band is interlaced in a fixed sequence of 1, 6, 11, 1, 6, 11 channels.
