First, stop the current VPS host state

Well, we have installed the WDCP panel environment in the VPS host of the bricklayer. Although this panel is no longer officially updated, it still has a large number of users, which is more suitable for our VPS novice users to deploy the website environment. Only we need to do a good job of server security and website backup, because WDCP is said to have many loopholes, but the official will upgrade the installation package after there are loopholes.

After the panel is installed, you need to add a domain name, open a database and create a FTP account to create a site. The background is actually very simple. All we see after logging in is Chinese, and we will use it as long as we can read and understand Chinese.

Third, add a domain name to the WDCP panel

Log in to "site Administration"-"New site" in the background of the WDCP panel, and then fill in the site information according to the text box on the right.

Generally speaking, you only need to enter the domain name to be bound according to the above figure, and everything else can be defaulted. For example, if we need to filter and prevent image piracy, we can set a certain image hotlink suffix, which is generally not set, unless we really do not allow reference. If our current server has multiple IP addresses and each site corresponds to a different IP, you can see multiple IP of the current server in the option "use IP", and then we can choose accordingly. Generally, we have a separate IP for the bricklayer VPS host, which is OK by default.

After the creation, you can see the public_html folder of the current site domain name in WWW/WEB. We need to upload the program to this file and wait for installation.

Tip: generally new sites are built by hand, do not use the method of creating the whole site, so that the setting of parameters is not clear enough.

Fourth, WDCP creates the site MYSQL database.

Generally speaking, we use the MYSQL database, so we have to create a database for the site first, so that we can continue to install the site after passing the data.

We see the figure above, using the method of quickly creating a MYSQL database, enter the user name and database name and password, select the corresponding site domain name, and then create. This information needs to be recorded, and we need to use it later when installing the website.

Fifth, WDCP panel to create site FTP account

In fact, if our VPS is for personal use, there is no need to create a FTP account in the panel, just log in with SFTP, so that you can see all the permissions and files in VPS, and FTP users need to set permissions instead.

See the image above, set up a dedicated FTP account according to the domain name of our site, so that this account can only log in to the current site file, which is usually allocated to other users, and the global account is managed by SFTP for your own use.
