In the previous installation, I encountered a very thorny problem. After the installation configuration is set, the error that the source partition has been mounted will pop up at the beginning of the batch installation, and the NTFS partition where the installation image is located cannot be mounted to the / windows/E directory. I installed the root directory to a separate partition and chose the so-called "expert mode", which made me suffer a lot and took me at least a morning + half an afternoon. I went back and did it several times before I solved the problem. At first, I thought that the default language could not be used in Chinese, but later it seemed that it could be used in Chinese. After doing it several times, I summed up the sentence "do not let the installation source partition be automatically mounted." Then you need to modify the mount configuration file that is automatically generated at installation time. Please pay attention to the following buttons "read device" and "Import existing fstab" when selecting a partition. Read the configuration to remove all the NTFS partitions mounted by default, and import the existing fstab to overwrite the current default mount configuration, especially to modify the obstacle that the partition where the installation source is mounted by default. This import imports the / etc/fstab file in a partition supported by LINUX on the hard disk, which seems to be found by all the partitions that will be scanned. If the imported fstab does not meet your needs, please go to the text terminal (press CTRL+ALT+F2), mount that partition now, edit the / etc/fstab file under that partition with vi, save, uninstall, switch to the graphics terminal (CTRL+ALT+F6 or F7), and continue to try. Anyway, I successfully installed it as soon as I imported fatab.

After a while on the KDE desktop on SUSE11.0, the program crashed a lot. I almost fainted by my own design by changing the things in the theme-whether it was in lack of aesthetic accomplishment, or whether it was all returned to the default use. But there are still programs that continue to crash, and I crash! How much these require OpenSUSE11.x installation skills!

I found a version of * * on the Internet, and openSUSE-11.2rc1.iso,TNND is still a version of RC. This version pisses me off again. You can't find the installation source image from the ISO file as before, and then you can't find the installation source image for the formal batch installation. Anyway, I didn't pull it up. After engraving a DVD disk, it can be installed smoothly from the CD. It's a pity that I installed it on an old desktop computer. I found several hosts, either the noise is too high or the CPU main frequency is not as high as others, and none of the optical drives can be used. I also found that the SEC IDE secondary slots of the DELL OPTIPLEX 170L computers are all broken, that is, you are not allowed to use the optical drive, so I have to wonder if I have to bring up the recall program. Go to MIS to explore, found a SATA optical drive, this machine happens to have SATA interface, used for a while, the speed is very fast, LINUX is finally set up.

The GNOME desktop is chosen this time, and it feels much more stable, although the application is not as clear as KDE. Functionally, KDE does better, but GNOE is stable and beautiful. I think she is comparable to WIN7, no matter in terms of picture quality or stability, while KDE is like XP and pays more attention to practicality.

Generally speaking, the installation of the bootstrap program has been done well, but the various installation methods are still not good enough. Ask developers to see how end users use it, so that users will naturally support your work!
