How to set up the windows system to prevent sharing access from good or bad, many novices are not very clear about this. In order to help you solve this problem, the following editor will explain it in detail. People with this need can come and learn. I hope you can get something.

In the local area network work environment, it is common for Internet users to share access, but many people always think that sharing access is as simple as double-clicking the "online neighbor" icon; in fact, when sharing access through the network, we often encounter the failure phenomenon that we can not see the specific shared content even though we spend a lot of effort. What is the reason? The emergence of this phenomenon is mostly due to the improper "training" of the Windows system. In view of this, the following article starts from the system settings to properly "tune" the relevant sharing settings in the system, so that the shared access will no longer stumble!

Set up protocols to prevent sharing access from ups and downs

When we try to share access in a computer system with two IP addresses, we sometimes have the trouble of having good or bad shared access. Why did this happen? I believe many people will subconsciously think that this is caused by poor network contact! In fact, the chance of sharing access caused by this factor is very small. After all, if the network line is really in bad contact, we can quickly determine whether it is a network line factor as long as we try to access the Internet or other network operations.

On the other hand, in a computer system with two IP addresses configured at the same time, when the fault of sharing access is good and bad, nine times out of ten, this is caused by the improper setting of the sharing protocol of the local computer system. We know that in the Windows working environment, the sharing access operation is completed through the SMB sharing protocol, and there are two working modes of the SMB sharing protocol, one is the traditional NetBios Over TCP/IP mode, the other is the Direct hosting mode. When the computer system works in the NetBios Over TCP/IP protocol mode, the shared access operation needs to use the 137communication port of the computer system for name resolution service, 138communication port for packet delivery service, and 139communication port for file transfer service. When the local computer system uses Direct hosting protocol mode to work, the sharing access process is more simple, there is no need to use NetBIOS communication port for name resolution and data packet transmission services, and directly use port 445 of the computer system for file transfer operation.

Generally speaking, the traditional Win9X system almost uses the NetBios Over TCP/IP protocol mode for shared access, but in the Win2000 and above system environment, the sharing access operation begins to use the Direct hosting protocol mode, but the traditional NetBios Over TCP/IP protocol mode still exists, and the protocol mode is directly bound to the network card device, and can only correspond to the first IP address of the network card device. However, the Direct hosting protocol mode does not have such special restrictions. According to this theoretical analysis, when a computer system with dual IP addresses tries to share access, it is possible to work in either NetBios Over TCP/IP protocol mode or Direct hosting protocol mode. if the first mode is adopted, the computer system where the target shared resources are located must adopt the address in the same network segment as the first IP address of the local system. To ensure the success of the shared access operation, otherwise the shared access will fail If the local computer system uses the Direct hosting protocol mode for shared access, the shared access operation will be successful all the time, so we will naturally feel that the shared access is good and bad. To prevent sharing access from going up and down, we just have to ask the local computer system to prohibit the use of NetBios Over TCP/IP protocol mode for work.
