Will Google be the next big name for foldable phones? According to a new report, the company is working on a bending device that could be available by the end of 2021. The report comes from a South Korean source called The Elec, which said Oppo, Xiaomi and Google are all signing orders with Samsung. Samsung display is an independent company that produces consumer technologies such as Samsung phones to buy collapsible screen technology.

This is not the first time we have heard Google's name in a foldable phone conversation, but it is reported that the company plans to buy a 7.6-inch screen for the upcoming phone.

Smartphones with this display technology are scheduled to be released this year, but it's not clear whether we will see devices from the three manufacturers or just one or two names, according to the Elec report.

We're not sure if this Google phone can be folded, or more like Huawei Mate X2 or Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2.

What about Xiaomi and Oppo?

Oppo is looking for a 7.7inch screen to flip, while Xiaomi's order includes 8.03in, which will be used inside a book-like folding phone, the report said.

Some people think that the foldable Pixel can be used as an alternative to Google's Pixel 6, so it is unlikely to replace the company's flagship phone. We don't know when Google Pixel 6 will be launched, but we expect it to be launched by the end of 2021.

Google may change its plans to turn off phones in the coming months, which is a bit disturbing, but this is our best sign that the company is trying to fold Pixel.

These days, we have heard that Google may restore its Google Pixel XL product line for its next smartphone, and the leak surrounding Google Pixel 5a shows that the device is very similar to the phone in 2020.
