There is something called Connector on the Teams team channel, as shown in the following figure

So what is a connector and what is the function of this connector? We all know that the purpose of creating a team in Teams is mostly for project or other reasons, so there may be a lot of news from channels throughout the project to tell the whole team, whether from internal or external, then the connector appears and updates of frequently used content and services are passed directly to the channel to keep your team up-to-date. Popularly speaking, it is a message interface, which can use all kinds of connectors that Microsoft already has, such as Forms,Github,Twitter,Azure DevOps Services and so on.

First, take a look at the Forms effect done before: the latest statistical report will be pushed to the whole team every morning, and everyone can click in to view it. If a project cycle or statistical cycle is completed, the connector can be mercilessly removed, as shown in the following figure.

This is an introduction to connectors, so now let's share with you how to create connectors. First, open the team, select the channel, and then click the connector. The following appears. I'll take GitHub as an example to add it.

I have a SFB&Teams database on GitHub and submit all kinds of questions.

Since I have only added one database, there is only one repositories of SFB in the drop-down menu, then check the notification content and click Save.

After saving, you can click manage to modify the repository and notification content

And then a connector is created.

There are many submissions in the SFB repository on GitHub, and any updates and replies will be notified directly to Teams, so it is more convenient for our front-line technical colleagues to know all kinds of BUG and product feedback from global IT technology enthusiasts for SFB&Teams this product in real time!

This is just a connector that Microsoft has already made for us, so how can we update some business systems within our own company to a certain team? Don't worry, Microsoft has made another thing for us called "Incoming Webhook", which exists as an endpoint between the internal business and the Teams, as shown in the following figure:

For example, I do a Demo here to create a webhook

Click add

Then create an internal system and upload logo

A webhook URL will be generated after clicking create.

Then a webhook connector is created in this way

Then give the URL to the developer to do docking on the OK.
