In the previous article, we have completed the steps of adding domains, and now we will install and configure AAD Connect.

Before installing AAD Connect, you need to install .NET Framework 3.5 on the AAD server now, as follows

Click "add roles and Features"

Check ".NET Framework 3.5 features", next step

Specify the backup source path (server operating system ISO needs to be loaded) "G:\ sources\ sxs\"

Installation completed

Log in to the office 365 Management Center and click "Azure Active Directory"

Click "Azure AD Connect" to download Azure AD Connect. It is recommended to download the latest AAD Connect tool.

Click install to continue

Here we choose "Custom"

Select "installation location" and "Service account" to install

Check "password Hash synchronization". Next step

Enter the administrator account password for office 365. next step

Enter the administrator account password of the local AD, and next

Connect to the directory, confirm it is correct, next step

If our private and public network domain names are different, we need to add the corresponding UPN suffix to the AD to ensure that the Azure AD domain column is displayed as "Verified". Next step

Check the OU structure that we need to synchronize. Next step

Default, next step

By default, the next step (you can choose the appropriate option according to the actual situation)

Check "Exchange mixed deployment", and next step

Check "start the synchronization process after the configuration is complete" to configure

Configuration complete

Wait for a while, you can go to the office 365 Management Center to check the synchronization status, and the account has been synchronized to Azure AD.
