Matters needing attention

This chapter requires that you already have some understanding of the basic functions of zabbix

Environment description:

1. There is already a zabbix-server machine in the local area network

2. The virtualization platform used is kvm.

Practical steps:

1. Install zabbix_agent in the clone template vm of kvm

Official package address: http://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/4.0/rhel/7/x86_64/zabbix-agent-4.0.6-1.el7.x86_64.rpm

Yum install-y zabbix-agent-4.0.6-1.el7.x86_64.rpm # uses yum installation to automatically install the dependency package and modify the following two parameters: Server=zabbix_IP and ServerActive=zabbix_IPvim / etc/zabbix/zabbix_agentd.conf systemctl start zabbix-agentsystemctl enable zabbix-agentsystemctl status zabbix-agent

2. Open the web interface of zabbix: configure-automatically discover

3. What actions should be performed on the discovered host:
