1. Use built-in VPC to connect switches for interconnection and interworking

Open GNS3, create a new C3725 router, and right-click, select change hostname to change the name to sw

Then right-click and select change symbol to change the icon to the switch style.

Right-click the switch and select Configure to add a layer 2 veneer to the device.

Create 2 new VPCS devices and connect them to the SW switch with a network cable. Select the ports of the sw switch, respectively, and click the green arrow above to turn them all on.

Double-click sw, enter the command configur terminal to enter global mode, and then enter no IP routing to turn off the routing function, and sw will become a complete switch.

Double-click the PC1 input instruction IP 192.168.8.8 255.255.255.0 to configure the ip address for PC1

Double-click the PC2 input instruction IP 192.168.8.10 255.255.255.0 to configure the ip address for PC2

Switch to pc1 and enter the instruction ping 192.168.8.10

The interconnection is realized.

two。 Using vmware to connect the interconnection of switches in GNS3

Right-click sw, select stop to stop the switch, and right-click other devices to select deleate to delete devices other than sw

Open VMware and start 2 virtual machines, one of which is win10,win10-2

Give them VMnet1 and Vmnet2 respectively in the network adapter below.

Create 2 new host devices in GNs3, connect them with a network cable (port corresponds to VMnet1,VMnet2), and then click on all.

Go back to VMware, configure them with the ip address 192.168.8.8 192.168.8.10, and turn off the firewall

Open and run in the win10 virtual machine, enter cmd enter, and enter the command ping 192.168.8.10

The interconnection is realized.
