After setting the IP address of the local network card through port X0, we enter the IP address https://192.168.168.168 of the SonicWALL firewall in the address bar of the IE browser, and the firewall will pop up the network configuration wizard interface.

Set or change a password for your firewall and repeat.

Click next, prompting us to modify the time zone of the firewall, and we choose the time zone of China.

Enter relevant information, such as IP address, mask, gateway, DNS server, etc. If you don't know how to set it up here, please contact your ISP

Since this is the test environment, I use a random address in the local network to operate.

Click next to prompt us to set the IP and mask of the LAN port. We set it according to our own planning and the actual situation of the network. I did not modify it here.

The DHCP feature can be enabled internally, or if it is a small business and a small number of internal PC, it can be used.

Click next, and the firewall will make a summary of the previous settings, so that we can confirm whether the settings are correct again. If there is any discrepancy between them, you can click back to return to modify them.

According to our previous settings, the firewall turns on the NAT mode-that is, when the PC in the LAN accesses the Internet outside the WAN, the IP address will be converted to the WAN port address, click apply, and the setting will take effect.
