In the Lord of the Rings, VR headphones went on sale in October 2017, but they didn't go on sale until May 2018 and two years later. Facebook has announced that it will stop using VR headphones.

Starting at $199, the Oculus Go is an affordable stand-alone VR helmet with a Snapdragon 821 processor, 2560 x 1440 resolution, space audio and controller. As a result of the cooperation between Xiaomi and Oculus, VR helmets are sold as Mi VR Standalone in China.

Facebook says Oculus Go will continue to receive bug fixes and security updates by 2022. However, no new applications will be released after December 18, and developers must submit new apps and app updates by December 4.

If you want to buy a stand-alone VR headset now, the Oculus Quest is your best choice, although it starts at $399, twice as much as the Oculus Go. It is also reported that a new Oculus Quest with a refresh rate of 90Hz will be available at the end of this year. I hope that when it comes out, the price of the current model will go down.
