Practical operation environment: open two virtual machines centos7-1, configure dual network cards for centos7-1, and one network card can be networked (online installation software package), and one network card is set to connect only the host (connect centos7-3, and remotely assemble the system for centos7 -3). Create virtual machine centos7-3, no image files, set host-only connection mode.

Centos 7 -1 is a PXE installed server, and centos 7-3 is a bare metal with no system installed. Set the static IP to the second NIC of 7-2 and start the NIC service.

Then install dhcp service package with yum, which assigns addresses and locates bootloader. Copy the template and go to Edit.

Edit dhcp configuration file, gateway points to its own static IP (192.168.100.100), to install the system for 7-3, first point the gateway address to yourself. Dns address The address assigned to the client, the real dns address of the telecommunication service 114.114.114.114 (Nanjing area). The boot file location points to the TFTP server (own ip), pointing to the boot file location.

Install the bootloader file package syslinux and check the path to the pxelinux.0 file in its package. This configuration file should be placed in the TFTP directory.

Install the tftp-server package and view the configuration file location and site file location in its package

Place the bootstrap file pxelinux.0 into the site and view the site directory

Go to tftp configuration file and enable its service function (most important).

First install ftp service and check its site path as/var/ftp. Mount the disc image file to an FTP site.

After successful mounting, enter centos7. The compressed kernel vmlinuz and the system initialization file initrd.img are in the centos image. Both are in the pxeboot directory in images, copy both files to the tftp site.

Create directory pxelinux.cfg directly in tftp site (directory name must not be changed, specified), create default text under this directory, and enter editing.

Write default mode, wait 1s, next three modes. The first label auto, kernel vmlinuz, append is followed by the initialization file initrd.

Turn off security and turn on three services

Go back to centos7-3 and confirm again if it is host-only connection mode. Open this virtual system, quickly click esc, select network startup mode.

Load the boot data, press Enter to install the system automatically. Easy and fast installation of system through network (no need to use USB flash drive)

Then enter configuration mode

The installation source is data from the centos directory on the remote server.

The next issue will talk about unattended installation, that is, one-step installation in place, no need to manually configure desktop data, etc., so stay tuned!

TFTP features: simple file transfer protocol, using UDP protocol, using port 69, fast but not safe, the disadvantage is that the storage capacity space is very small.

Put the system boot program pxelinux.0 (installed through syslinux package), compressed kernel vmlinuz, system initialization file initrd.img, startup menu default (all four program files are indispensable).

(3) FTP: find vsftpd file transfer protocol, which is centos7 system image, security, large capacity TCP port 20 (data transfer) port 21 (connection)
