Modify kernel parameter dad_transmits

I have been studying IPv6 recently. After controlling the message sent by ipv6 address collision detection (dad), after address configuration, more than one ns message is found. It's weird. After investigation, it was found that the kernel itself sent an ns message. So we need to ban ns messages sent by the kernel. Kernel parameters need to be modified. The first time I adjusted the kernel parameters, I was excited.

This parameter is found in/proc/sys/net/ipv6/conf/all.

But I found a problem when I modified it.

The vim does not allow modification.

The requested URL/proc/was not found on this server.

Batch modification Direct modification of configuration files

Modify the sysctl.conf configuration file and execute the following command:

sysctl -p /etc/sysctl.conf modify a parameter directly-w parameter

Modify dad_transmits for all interfaces to 0.

sysctl -w net.ipv6.conf.eth0.dad_transmits=0

Dynamic can be modified, but can not be modified with vim vim default call fsync, but this is a virtual file system file, so error

can directly

echo 0 > /proc/sys/net/ipv6/conf/eth0/dad_transmits

so that it can be modified.

However, after this restart, it will be restored to the default
