Experimental environment

Two Linux systems, one as a server and one as a client. In the installation CD of the CentOS7 system, repodata data has been built for the software directory Packages, so as long as the CD content is simply published through ftp, it can be used as a software repository.

Experimental process

1 the server connects to the CD image, mounts the image file to the directory / mnt, installs the vsftpd service and enables it

2. The default directory of ftp service is / var/ftp. Enter the folder ftp, create two folders c7 other, and copy all the files under the mnt directory to c7.

Create an extension directory to other

3 enable the service, turn off the firewall, enhance the security function, build the ftp service on the client, and try to access the server.

4 remove the yum repository that comes with the client and cache it clearly. Create a new file and configure your own yum path

5. Complete the configuration, save and exit, load the yum repository, and use the cache clearly.
