Recently, many friends encountered the problem that the lenovo 730-8i 2G card could not be identified after replacing the server. As it happens, our company also dismantled a batch, and I tested it. Sure enough, I did not recognize it after changing the server. It shows that you can see the card in the raid setting of the SR server, but you cannot do the array. You can see the card in the storage of the UEFI interface. After testing with 4 cards, you can finally find a way as follows:

1. Press F1 to enter LXPM,UEFI SETUP---System Settings----Device and IO Ports

2. Find the PCI slot corresponding to the Raid card (SR590 is slot4,SR650 is slot7), first reset the UEFI, then modify it to legacy, save and restart. In the RAID settings of the LXPM interface, you can see that 730-8i 2G can also be used as an array (may report an error). Then go back to the previous interface to change the previously modified legacy to UEFI and save and restart to see the 730-8i 2G card in the storage. Remember to reset the raid card factory again. It can be used on other servers.
