The Hired website recently released a report on the status of Software Engineers in 2019, with many bright spots. The report, collected and analyzed by the Hired data Science team, covered 98,000 job search software engineers in 13 cities, reflected more than 170,000 interview applications and job opportunities in the past year, and collected survey responses from more than 700 software engineers on the Hired platform to understand developers' job preferences.

Developers' attitude towards open source

About half of the developers are involved in open source projects, 5% of them are for work, 24% want to make their resumes look good, and 25% feel they have a sense of mission to contribute to open source. However, the largest proportion of developers still find it interesting to participate in open source, accounting for 30%. What's your attitude?
