Other noteworthy features of the CentOS Linux 8 release are the BPF Compiler Collection (BCC), a new tool for creating effective kernel tracing and manipulation programs, the extended Berkeley packet filtering (eBPF) functionality in the kernel, and the Image Builder tool for creating custom system images.
