Configure Oracle in 1.BE agent, log in to the operating system where Oracle resides, and open

5. Switch to the DBA Settings page and add user credentials to connect to this Oracle server operating system. If you use workgroup authentication, do not add the name of the computer to the user name; if you use domain authentication, the user name needs to be filled in as Domain\ Username.

6. Finally, click the "OK" button to complete the configuration on the Oracle server, and the Backup Exec Remote Agent Utility will be minimized to the system bar to continue running. And then restart the Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows Systems service.

7. Log in to the backup server, open the console of BackupExec, click the BackupExec icon in the upper left corner, and select "configuration and Settings"-- "Login account" to open the "manage Login account" window.

8. Click the "add" button to add the account used to connect the backup server to the Oracle server operating system. The account should be exactly the same as the account added by "DBA Settings" in Backup Exec Remote Agent Utility on the Oracle server in step 5 (including case). Please refer to the following figure

9. Click the "add" button again in the "manage login account" window to add the account used to connect to the Oracle instance, which must be the same as the account number of the instance added in the "Oracle" tab of the Backup Exec Remote Agent Utility on the Oracle server in step 4.

10. When you have finished adding the account, please click the Backup Exec icon in the upper left corner of the main interface, select "configuration and Settings"-"Backup Exec Settings", and select "Oracle" on the left side of the window. Enter the host name and IP address of the Oracle server in "enter the Oracle server name", and then click the "add" button to add it. In "login account", drop down and select the account created in step 8 to connect to the Oracle server operating system.

11. Go back to the main interface, click the backup and restore button on the main interface, right-click the Oracle server icon displayed, and click backup to create a new backup job
