The full-flow proxy function of BIGIP Local Traffic Manager (LTM) F5, LTM provides a platform for creating virtual servers, performance, services, protocols, authentication, and security profiles to define and shape application traffic. Most other modules in the BIGIP family use LTM as the basis for enhanced services. BIGIP dns's previous global traffic manager, BIGIP DNS provides similar security and load balancing capabilities that LTM provides, but on a global / multi-site scale. BIGIP DNS provides services to distribute and secure DNS traffic advertising your application namespace. The BIGIP access Policy Manager (APM) provides federation, SSO, application access policies, and secure Web tunnels. Allow granular access to your various applications, virtualized desktop environments, or directly into a complete × × tunnel. Secure Web Gateway Service (SWG), together with APM, SWG provides access policy control for the use of the Internet. You can allow, block, verify, and record traffic and APM access policies, allowing flexibility around your acceptable use of Internet and public Web applications. Traditional firewalls and layer 3 protection do not understand the complexity of many Web applications. AFM runs on L3/L4 and helps protect the traffic assigned to the data center. Along with ASM, you can implement protection services in L3-L7 for complete ADC and security solutions in a box or virtual environment.

After the application is completed, license will be sent to your registered email address with a validity period of 90 days. Similar to the following:

Enter license and select manual activation, respectively, and click next:

Paste what you just copied under "Enter Your Dossier", and then click next:

Select what I have read and agree, and then next:

The page below represents that license is active.

You can click "Download license" to download the license file at this time.

Go back to the original F5 BIG-IP page:

Paste the copied content to the right of "Step 3:License" and click next:

It pops up and the system changes:

Wait for the system configuration. You need to log in again when the system configuration is complete:

Activation complete.
