System installation and uninstallation tests

1. Installation Test:

1)During installation, whether the default installation directory and any specified installation directory can be installed correctly.

2)If you choose to install, check whether it can achieve the corresponding function;

3)After exiting the installation program at all possible locations, verify that the program is not installed successfully (no program groups and program items are generated);

4)Abnormal configuration or status (illegal and unreasonable configuration) during installation has been tested such as: (power failure, database termination, network termination, etc.);

5)After the software is installed, whether it will affect other installed software (such as operating system and application software);

6)After bare metal installation, whether the software can run correctly and whether each function point is available;

7)Before installation, whether the installer judges the size of available disk space, and if it cannot meet the installation space requirements, whether the installer can continue;

8)Check whether the copyright statement, version information, company name, LOGO, etc. meet the standards during installation;

9)Whether the interface display and prompt language is accurate and friendly during installation;

10)Whether there is a prompt for repeated installation, whether it can be overwritten, whether it can be upgraded, and whether multiple versions are allowed to coexist;

11)Is there a registration code or hardware dongle, and can it be installed without them (or errors)?

2. unloading test

1)Whether the registration information and related program installation directories in the registry can be completely deleted after uninstall;

2)After deleting the shared files completely during the uninstall process, see if other programs can run normally;

3)After uninstall, whether it will affect other installed software;

4)Whether the user-created documents are retained after the system is uninstalled;

5)Whether the software name and version information on the software uninstall screen are correct;

6)Whether it can exit correctly at all positions where it can exit unloading halfway;

7)Whether the interface display and prompt language is accurate and friendly during unloading;

8)After uninstalling the installation of this system can open the original saved files, and everything runs normally;

9)If an uninstall program requires a restart, does the user have a prompt to save information about existing programs that are already running between restarts?

10)Whether components can be selected for unloading;

11)Handling of unexpected situations during unloading (power failure, etc.);

12)Whether there is a stop or end button during unloading.
