People who may have used sqlplus know that direction keys and backspace keys cannot be used normally in the session interface after sqlplus is connected to Oracle. This is a troublesome point. There is often a sql miswritten, and it is very troublesome to start all over again. People who have used MySQL must not be used to this, but fortunately, there are two useful tools under the Linux system that can solve this problem. They are rlwrap and readline. Starting sqlplus through these two tools can solve the problem of editing in session and add features similar to history of the system. Of course, it is recommended to configure the yum source during installation. Remember to configure the source of epel, install it directly through yum after configuration, and then modify the environment configuration file under the Oracle user, and add aliases to sqlplus and rlwrap, so that you do not have to repeat the instructions next time. The operation is simple as follows:

[root@localhost ~] # yum-y install readline rlwrap [root@localhost ~] # su-oracle [oracle@localhost ~] $vim .bash _ profile... Slightly... Alias sqlplus='rlwrap sqlplus'alias rman='rlwrap rman' [oracle@localhost ~] $source .bash _ profile

In this way, it can be used in sqlplus's session as in MySQL's session.
