The host to be operated is a virtual machine. Due to lack of experience, the network card information of the host is not checked first, but the network card of the virtual machine is checked directly, which leads to the failure of this operation.

During the operation, the first thing that comes to mind is to add a new network card and configure a new IP,lanscan on the new network card to check that there are two network cards on the host, lan0 and lan1,lan1 are not yet in use. So configure the new ip on lan1. As a result, after the network card is configured, it is found that the ip ping is not available.

The configuration file is modified as follows:

Start troubleshooting.

1, first check the configuration file (there is no problem).

2, so I wonder whether it is the problem of the host network card. (it is indeed a host network card problem)

Hpvmnet on the host computer to view the Nic information:

It turns out that the IP of the host vswitch901 network card is 95 network segment, I am equipped with a 94 network segment, of course it does not work.

3. After the problem is found, correct modification begins. The steps are as follows:

1) modify the / etc/rc.config.d/netconf configuration file to change the IP to the 95 IP address range.

2) modify / etc/hosts configuration file

3) restart network services

/ sbin/init.d/net stop

/ sbin/init.d/net start

4. After the operation, IP will be through.
