MSignatureDB is a database of tumor mutation characteristics. With 30 mutation characteristics included in COSMIC database as a reference, the composition of 30 mutation characteristics in more than 15000 tumor samples from TCGA and ICGC was analyzed.

Through the Browse menu, you can view the composition of 30 mutation features in tumor samples, which are divided into the following three levels

Through the Analysis menu, you can upload your own somatic mutation data for the following two kinds of analysis

DeconstructSigs, to detect the composition of 30 COSMIC refernce mutation characteristics in the sample.

WTSI Mutational Signature Framework, which uses the same algorithm as COSMIC to identify mutation signatures, is essentially achieved by calling the R packet of mutSignatures.

Through this database, we can not only view the composition of mutation characteristics in TCGA tumor samples, but also analyze the mutation characteristics of our own data.
