1. Log in to emc

two。 First confirm that the storage can correctly identify the host, right-click on the storage and select "connectivity status".

3. Check the connectivity status interface to see if the WWN of the host HBA card has been correctly identified.

4. Register the newly identified HBA card, click "Group Edit", pop up the Group Edit Initators interface, select a new HBA card from Available, move it to the Selected basket, enter the correct host name and IP address, and make sure.

5. Go back to Connectivity Status and check that all HBA cards are registered and in logged in state.

6. Create a new LUN, right-click on the Raid Group where you want to create a LUN, and select Bind LUN.

7. When creating a LUN, confirm several main parameters RAID Group for new LUN, LUN Size, and Default Owner.

8. Create a Storage Group, right-click on Storage Groups, and select New Storage Group

9. Right-click on the newly created Storage Group and select the attribute to allocate the corresponding space to the host.

10. On the LUNs page of the attribute, select the available new LUN and assign it to Selected LUNs

11. Select the host that needs space on the Hosts page, assign it to the Hosts be Connected basket, and click OK to confirm all configurations.

Then trespass the lun separately so that the host can go online to this disk.
