We all know what Easy File Locker is.

According to the previous method, delete the xlkfs.dll and reinstall to clear the password. But when you get to the latest version (1.5), you will find it invalid.

C:\ WINDOWS\ xlkfs.datc:\ WINDOWS\ xlkfs.dllc:\ WINDOWS\ xlkfs.inic:\ WINDOWS\ system32\ drivers\ xlkfs.sys

By using malware defender for installation tracking, it is found that a file releases user.dat to the user directory:

Win2003 file path:

C:\ Documents and Settings\ All Users\ Documents\ EFL\ user.dat

Win7 win8 file path:

C:\ USERS\ PUBLIC\ DOCUMENTS\ EFL

Delete the user.dat reinstall software to clear the password.
